The Production Line page is the "recipe" for your products. It maps out exactly who does what and how long each step takes. By setting this up, you stop guessing and start knowing your lab’s true capacity. When you master your time, you master your profit.
Navigate to Production Lines

Once you are in the Production Line dashboard, look for the + New Production Line button in the top right corner. Clicking this will open the setup wizard where you can define the specific parameters of your new workflow.

Every workflow needs a clear starting point. Enter a unique name for the production line and use the description box to define its specific purpose and goals for your laboratory team.

This is where you list every task a case must complete from start to finish.
Pick the Role: Choose who is responsible for the task ( Designer, Technician, or Polisher).
Set the Time (Taken Time): Enter the hours and minutes the task takes.

Why accuracy matters: Being honest with the time helps the system predict guaranteed delivery dates that you can promise to your clinics. It also helps you see which stages are "bottlenecks" that are slowing down your lab.
Not all orders are created equal. A single crown takes less time than a 10-unit bridge. To account for this, use the Advanced Estimation tool to set dynamic time ranges based on the number of units.
1. Next to the Estimation field for any task, click the calculator icon. This opens the advanced menu where you can move beyond a "one-size-fits-all" time estimate.

In the popup, define your volume ranges (e.g., 1–3 units, 4–12 units). For each tier, enter the specific hours and minutes required. Once you hit Save, the system will automatically calculate the correct production time based on the actual size of every new case.

The Result: Your production schedule automatically updates to reflect the true workload, ensuring your deadlines stay realistic no matter the order size.
When you finish this setup, your lab moves from "busy" to "optimized":
Guaranteed Deadlines: You can finally tell clinics exactly when their case will be ready based on real data.
Balanced Workload: No more overwhelmed technicians. Every staff member knows their specific step and the time they have to do it.
Maximum Profit: By seeing the total time each line takes, you can identify where you are losing time, and time is money.
