Request to join a laboratory from the Clinic Portal

Submit the password-free Register Clinic request in a laboratory-branded portal, complete its dependent location fields, and understand the laboratory approval handoff.

A laboratory-branded Clinic Portal can show Register Clinic on its sign-in page. This submits a request to that laboratory; it does not immediately create a password or open a clinic workspace. The laboratory must review the request in Lab Admin.

The generic iLab Clinic Portal can instead show Sign Up, which is a different self-service account flow. Use the option displayed in the application or address supplied by the laboratory.

Clinic: submit the registration request

  1. Open the branded Clinic Portal application or web address for the laboratory you want to join.

  2. From sign in, select Register Clinic.

  3. Enter the clinic name.

  4. Enter the clinic's primary email address and phone number.

  5. Select the country. If that country uses states in the form, select a state; then select the city.

  6. Enter the clinic address.

  7. Complete the security verification.

  8. Select Register.

The form requires clinic name, valid email, phone, country, city, and address. State is required only when the selected country exposes states. This request form does not ask for a contact name, password, or password confirmation. After a successful submission, the application returns to sign in; that redirect is not proof that access is active.

If the form asks you to select a country, state, or city, make sure each selection is complete before submitting. Available states and cities depend on the earlier geographic selection.

Laboratory: review the request

An authorized Lab Admin user processes the request:

  1. Open Clinics and go to Clinic Inbox.

  2. Find the registration request and review its clinic and contact information.

  3. Choose Accept to create or connect the clinic, or Reject if the request is invalid or should not be onboarded.

  4. When accepting, select the required currency and price segment.

  5. Confirm the action.

The price segment controls the clinic's applicable pricing, while the currency must be compatible with the laboratory's financial setup. Review these carefully before accepting.

After the laboratory accepts

The frontend repositories confirm the submission and approval workflow but do not establish one universal delivery method for the clinic's first credentials. The laboratory should follow its approved onboarding process and tell the clinic which email, application, address, and initial credentials to use.

Clinic users should not repeatedly submit the request. If no response arrives, contact the laboratory directly and provide the clinic name and email used in the request.

Request status and common problems

  • The Register Clinic option is missing: confirm that you opened the laboratory's branded portal. The generic portal can show Sign Up instead.

  • A location cannot be selected: reselect country first. Changing country reloads the dependent choices; select state when shown, then city.

  • The form says a location is required: confirm country and city, plus state when the selected country uses states. Typed address text does not replace those selections.

  • Registration returns to sign in: this is the expected post-submission destination, not an instruction to guess a password. Wait for the laboratory's onboarding response.

  • The request was rejected: contact the laboratory; iLab support cannot decide whether a laboratory should accept a commercial relationship.

  • The clinic already exists: ask the laboratory to connect or restore the existing record instead of creating a duplicate.

  • The account opens but the laboratory is missing: ask the laboratory to verify the clinic relationship and the branded edition being used.

Need help?

Clinic users should contact the laboratory first. For a technical form failure, email [email protected] with the application or address, laboratory name, clinic name, registered email, and exact error text. Never send passwords or verification codes.
